Embroidered French Squadron Banner
A hand-stitched, miniature velvet banner sewn with golden beadwork to say in French: “Third Mobile Squadron of Gendarmerie.” These decorative pieces were often created and distributed within small French communities, this one for Bourgoin-Jallieu.
