"I planted this rose bush last year. I didn’t know at the time what color the roses would be that bloomed. Much to my surprise they are a very vibrant coral pink. Not something I would have chosen, but now, I find these roses are the ones I most look forward to seeing each morning for they feel the most carefree amongst a garden of chosen classics. Let’s agree this photograph is an ode to those unexpected yet delightful surprises that come unannounced into our lives and end up taking hold of our hearts."
