France Shipment Has Arrived!

In February, when I embarked on another journey to my favorite city in the world, two things happened that I didn’t anticipate. The first was getting swept up in buying so many beautiful furniture pieces that it only made sense to fill a container. The second was that, in the midst of my travels, I became violently ill and ended up in a Parisian hospital. Like a true artist, I soldiered on, drinking fluids and forcing myself on long jaunts through the city, which, in fact, did make me feel better.

 

Although my trip was less than ideal on paper, I absolutely loved the pieces I carefully chose to bring home for you—from a large collection of terre de fer plates to a crystal chandelier adorned with iridescent fruit, and even a fifteen-foot canoe! We’ll be highlighting all of these treasures over the next few weeks as we settle back into new routines and find our rhythm once more after such a busy summer.
