Louis Sherry

Born of the Gilded Age in New York, 1881, Louis Sherry was the first to craft American chocolate in the French tradition, and present it as a luxury gift enclosed in a decorative tin. These traditions of excellence and beauty are echoed today in a ganache recipe that hasn’t changed for a hundred years, a series of artfully designed tins, and ethical sourcing of the cacao used by their master chocolatier.

The Designer: Harrison Howard was born in 1954 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Much of his professional career has been devoted to mural work in private homes, and has included screen prints, panels, easel paintings and watercolors. In the most recent years his focus has been on easel painting and limited edition prints, often with bird, animal or floral motifs.

This Louis Sherry emblematic gift box is composed of a house selection of exquisite truffles renowned for their creamy texture and exceptional silkiness. A truly delightful gift for anyone to indulge in the pleasure of fine chocolate.
