Fleur-de-Lis Charm

This ornate necklace features thirteen auspicious symbols hand-selected to bestow protection, strength, and creativity. The charms were cast from vintage coins discovered in France, while the cameo, intaglios, and glass stones were sourced in Germany.

When we discovered a vintage coin from Hong Kong—”the fragrant harbor”—we were reminded of Napoleon’s famous words about the region, long under the British commonwealth: “Let China sleep, for when she wakes, she will rule the world.”

This noble charm was reimagined from an original French shield, reinterpreted in a lovely royal blue enamel. Double-sided, it features a golden crown at the top, a roaring lion in the bottom-right, and crossed blades on the left.

While antiquing in France, we discovered a small collection of vintage religious emblems which we reimagined into a series of charms. This double-sided Roman cross is striking on its own, yet finely detailed to layer beautifully with other charms.

Before Neptune, there was Salacia—ancient Roman goddess of the sea who sculpted fish from salt, and sang life into their bones. To wear her articulated fish is to invite good fortune, abundance, and fertility into your life.
