When India officially seceded from Britain in the mid-20th century, their currency shifted from the Annas to Rupees, and later the Paise. As a result, government-stamped bank notes were lost in both value and place over time. Paula and Taras collected a few pieces on a trip to Jaipur, India 10 years ago, and have now released them in hopes someone might collect these as intriguing parts of history, or art materials for new projects to come.
